The following policy applies to retail purchases (“Buy New” at checkout) only. Retail products are those that are purchased as “Buy New” on our website (borrowedbridesmaid.com). To see our policy for rentals and/or sample sale purchases, please review our Rental Agreement and Sample Sale Terms of Service.

If you are not completely satisfied with any item you purchase, you may return or exchange it within thirty (30) days from the delivery date of your purchase. All returned items must be unaltered, unworn, and include the packing slip with original tags still attached.

Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment (unless otherwise required due to payment method limitations, in which case an alternative form of refund may be offered). If you wish to exchange an item, the original item must be returned first. Once we receive and inspect the returned item, your replacement will be processed and shipped to you.

Rental Agreement

This Rental Agreement (this “Agreement”) is a legal agreement between you, the customer (“you” or “your”), and Borrowed Bridesmaid, LLC (“Borrowed Bridesmaid,” “we,” or “us”), establishing the terms and conditions under which you will rent dresses, accessories, and other items (each a “Product” or “Products”) and receive related services from us through our website at borrowedbridesmaid.com.

Before you click on the “Pay now” button, carefully read this customer rental agreement. By clicking the “Pay now” button, you are agreeing to be bound by and are becoming a party to the Agreement, which incorporates the website Terms & Conditions of Use and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to all the terms of this Agreement, you will not be permitted to rent Products from Borrowed Bridesmaid.

The following policy applies to rental orders only. Rental orders are those that are checked-out/reserved as “Rent” or "Home Try-On" on our website. To see our policy for retail returns and/or sample sale purchases please review our Retail Return Policy and Sample Sale Terms of Service.

This Agreement contains all the terms and conditions governing your rental of Products from Borrowed Bridesmaid through our site. You agree that your use of the site and your rental of Products is subject to our website Terms & Conditions of Use and our Privacy Policy, as such terms may change from time to time. You agree and acknowledge that you are renting the Products and that ownership of the Products always remains with Borrowed Bridesmaid. Capitalized terms used herein but not otherwise defined have the meanings given to them in the Terms & Conditions of Use.

Rental Fees and Credit Card Authorizations

The rental fee ("Rental Fee") for the Products will cover the Rental Fees, Accidental Damage Waiver, taxes, and any other associated charges detailed on the checkout page of our website in connection with your rental order made via your account. Upon placing your order for Products, you authorize us to charge your credit card for the Rental Fee. We will charge your credit card the amount of the Rental Fee immediately upon you clicking “Pay now” on our website. You represent that you are authorized to use the chosen payment method (including, without limitation, credit cards) for the purpose of renting the Products as described herein. A reservation for a Product on our website is an order for the rental of that Product, no matter how far in advance the order is placed. In addition to the Rental Fee, you further authorize us to charge your credit card for any “Unreturned Fee” or other damage amounts as set forth below.

Product Quality, Sizing, and Replacements

We will ship the Products and sizes as requested by you through our website ordering system. When you receive the Products you ordered, you should immediately inspect and try on the Products. If any item does not fit due to measurement error, you must notify us within 48 hours of order delivery, and we will ship you a replacement item at no additional cost to you. If your replacement request is made after 48 hours, you will be charged the cost of shipping the item(s). Please note that if you place your order fewer than 5 days before your event, we cannot guarantee that we will have time to ship you a replacement.

Tailoring/Adjustments

Borrowed Bridesmaid does not authorize permanent alterations to rental Products. Any permanent tailoring, cutting, or irreversible adjustments to the Product are strictly prohibited and will result in fees up to the full retail value of the item.

Rental Returns

To return your rental, pack everything back into the original box. Peel off the shipping label along the perforated edge to reveal the prepaid return label underneath and take the box to your nearest FedEx location. We do not ship outside the contiguous U.S., nor do we permit orders to be returned from outside the contiguous U.S. If your destination event order is returned from Alaska, Hawaii, or an international country, we do not reimburse for extra shipping costs. Returning your order from an international country will also incur a late return fee, as customs may delay the return of your rental.

Cancellations

You may cancel your order at least twenty-one (21) days prior to your event date, subject to the following cancellation process:(i) For cancellations made forty-five (45) or more days in advance of the event date, a full refund will be issued to the original payment method.(ii) For cancellations made less than forty-five (45) days in advance of the event date, account credit will be issued for the full amount of the order. Account credit does not expire.Cancellations where the original event date has been updated after initial checkout are not eligible for refunds.

Shipping

Your rental order will be shipped to you through a shipping partner and scheduled to arrive at least 10 days prior to your event date. We only ship to verified United States Postal Service residences, offices, or hotel street addresses within the continental U.S. (We cannot ship to P.O. Boxes.) All orders are shipped in a high-quality corrugated box.

Unreturned Fees

All rental orders must be shipped back to Borrowed Bridesmaid no later than 5 days following your event date. Any Products not marked as shipped within 5 days of your event will be deemed to require a rental extension. After that point, a rental extension fee of sixty dollars ($60.00) will be charged to the payment method used for the rental. If you do not return the rented item(s) within twelve (12) days from your event date, your items will be considered unreturned, and Borrowed Bridesmaid will charge your payment card for the retail value of the items as declared on the website and order invoice, plus applicable sales tax.
